What Does A Lump On The Forehead Indicate?

Hi have a lump on my fore head that came about 3 weeks ago, Went to a doctor to have it checked , It was the size of a pencil and was soft. They though it could be a blood vessel bulging. It is not getting any smaller and it seems to be starting to get a little more solid. Do you have any idea. There is no pain when I touch it. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It's hard to say what this could be, but if it just came 3 weeks ago, and hasn't gone away, a blood vessel seems unusual. I believe the next step would be to take a look at it with an ultrasound, so I would suggest seeing your doctor again about that and discussing it with them.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
