I have a nickel size lump in d left inner thigh. Its very painful for 2 weeks, now its moving downward a little pass the knee cap on. The inside of d knee, its still painful to d touch and when I walk. I don t see a bite mark and is slightly pink. Should I b concern, tanx doc

As per your complain it seems that painful lump on inner thigh seems most probably be due to formation of a Abscess that has not yet started draining.. It occurs most commonly due to hairfollicle infection while other causes can be infected gland in the area or infection in the skin leading to pus formation under the skin..
I would suggest you to consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. He can advise you a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller and topical application of antibiotic, steroid and numbing ointment.. Do warm compresses as it can ease in draining it off.. If it does not improve or start worsening then Incision and Drainage can help in faster resolution..
