i have a large lump in my lower left back it doesnt hurt all the time but when i exercize like do situps or walk up stairs it hurts pretty bad my left leg has actually collapsed from underneath of me a couple times this has been going on for a couple years what is it

long duration probably non cancerous lump but because of long duration chances of cancer conversion is there, surgery is the choice,first u should undergo examination wether lump had communication with abdomen,may be the lump is a simple tumor like lipoma but because of large size it causing pressure on surrounding area causing u problems,to prevent complications lump should be removed
