General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Depending the location (precisely) this could either be a cyst, a boil as a result of folliculitis or a Bartholin's cyst. Try warm compresses to the region, wear lose and comfortable inner wear, take sitz baths with epsom salt in it and avoid sexual intercourse an masturbation for a while. If you do not experience an improvement, then visit your doctor for either a drainage or excision, this is nothing serious and can easily be treated.

The surgery is a minor procedure and nothing serious at all.

Best wishes.
