What Does A Largish Round Dark Circle Pressing Vertebrae In L5-S1 From MRI Mean?

I just had an MRI. I see on the film - on the vertebrae just above the L5-S1 - a largeish round dark circle pressing into the vertebrae and the disc, what can that be? There is nothing like that anywhere else on the film. That is the only bad disc I have as far as i know, but that is somehting I don't recall seeing before on any other MRI. Could it be a cyst or a tumor or something like that? Or just scar tissue? I did have a discectomy there about 18 months ago.
