What Does A Large Sebaceous Cyst In The Middle Of The Back Indicate?

I have a large sebaceous cyst in the middle of my back and waiting for a operation to remove it. The cyst is now infected and have been prescribed flucoxacillin. The pain is getting worse and I have been taking it for 3 days. Also I am getting a lot of pain in my left breast. Is this normal? Thankyou

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No this is not normal.
Worsening pain despite of antibiotic suggest that you will need surgical removal of sebaceous cyst.
Antibiotics are not always effective in sebaceous cyst.
And in this, surgical removal (incision and drainage) of sebaceous cyst is the only option.
So don't wait, immediately consult surgeon and get done removal of sebaceous cyst.
This is the only option for you.
Once you get it removed, your all symptoms will subside.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
