What Does A Indentation On Shin After An Injury Indicate?

A few months ago I passed out and hit my shin extremely hard off of a bench. There was bleeding, swelling, pain, and bruising. After about a month or a month and a half the bruise finally went away and the pain somewhat stopped. Now there is a scar where I hit and it s extremely tender. When I run my finger over it, there is an indentation and it feels like a piece of my bone is missing. Is this possible and what could be done about it?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Get your xray of affected leg done in AP and Lateral view and send me the report.

There may be hairline fracture.

Indentation may also be due to swelling etc.

Till then you can take declofenac + serratiopeptidase combination three times a day by prescription of your family doctor.

Avoid prolong standing, overexersion as much as you can.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
