What Does A Hard Lump On The Right Leg Indicate?
A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a hard lump in my right leg about half way between my knee and angle. It is in the soft tissue of the calf but appears to be attached to the bone above the soft tissue. It is not warm and there is no pain associated with it. What may have caused this lump? It is not the result of an injury.

The description that you have provided could be either of two possibilities..
1) a ganglion or an enlargement of the tendinous sheath which connects the muscle to the bone.
2) a lipoma which is basically a collection of fat cells.
To confirm the diagnosis, it is better that you consult your doctor who could examine it and advise
an ultrasound as required.
