I was showering today and noticed a hard lump at the base opening of my vagina? I m scared and wondering if it s a hernia or something else. I just recently hard open heart surgery and in 2009 I had an unbilical hernia and my gall bladder taken out. I m wondering wow now what is this? Please help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here without physical examination of lump it is difficult to rule out nature of lesion

It is hard lesion, So abscess like infection seems less likely

It could be lichen sclerosus like or any other Benign lesion...

If needed biopsy can be taken for histopathology examination and than accordingly subsequent treatment plan

Take care

With keeping these in mind consult gynecologist
