Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. There are many reasons that explains your concern. 1)It can be a cyst. Cysts are more likely to cause pain when they get infected. Vaginal cysts can become infected by the normal bacteria found on the skin or by a sexually transmitted disease. 2)It can be a polyp. They are small, elongated tumors that grow on the cervix. Treatment depend on the cause. A colposcopy is necessary to confirm the diagnose. This is a procedure done by a gynecologist . Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
