What Does A Firm Lump Between Anus And Vagina Suggest?
Hello, today I noticed a lump between my anus and vagina but closer to my anus. It s rather painful and I suspected my period pad maybe caused irritation and therefore the lump but now I m not sure. It s firm and doesn t seem to have any fluid, it seems like a solid lump. I m rather worried.

A painful lump between vagina and anus could be infectious in nature.
The skin surrounding the anal opening bears hair.
Infection of the hair follicles or infection of the skin can lead to formation of painful lump.
However, clinical assessment is required to know the exact site of origin and correct diagnosis of the lesion.
Appropriate management can be planned after clinical assessment.
In the meanwhile you can take painkiller for the pain.
