What Does A Dry Circular Spot On Upper Indicate?

Hey, I have a dry circular spot on my upper arm. It started off small and then got a little bigger. It s about the size of a dime now and there is a new spot just above it. The spots are white dry and flaky. I don t have dry skin anywhere else. I m a 24 year old female.

Hi,

As per your query dry circular spots on upper arm seems to be due to change environmental factors. I would suggest you to:
- Drink plenty of water
- Take diet rich in multivitamins
- Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore

If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics like clindamycin.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
