Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
A clinical assessment of the black spots on either side of nose is required.
Pigmented spots developing on any part of body are suspicious for melanocytic lesions.
Melanocytic lesions arise from melanocytes or pigment cells in the body.
These lesions vary from non-neoplastic to neoplastic lesions.
Thus, a clinical assessment and relevant investigation in the form of biopsy is required to know the nature of the lesion and thus its management.
Management depends on the character of the lesion.
In case the lesion turns out to be non-neoplastic, then the lesion can be removed by lase for cosmetic purposes.
If in case the lesion turns out to be neoplastic, appropriate measures need to be taken to treat the condition.

Thanks and take care
