What Does A Bump On The Bottom Of The Penis Shaft Indicate?

Hey I have a single bump on the bottom of the shaft of my penis closer to the base. It is filled with puss but when I attempted to pop it only clear fluid came out and as it healed the white pus stay under ther skin. It is painless now but still has pus in their? Would an antibiotic cream clear it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on your description, it appears that you could have Sebaceous cyst. It might have been infected superficially and partially drained.

You need to get it completely drained by a small surgical incision so that the entire cyst can be removed with the contents.

A topical antibiotic application may not heal the cyst completely and may recur as well.

Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
