What Does A Bump Near Hip Bone Oozing Blood Suggest?

I had a bump I thought was an ingrown hair. Today I looked at it and saw it looked like a blood blister when I m pretty sure it looked like there was hair under there. So I made it rupture... and I cleaned it and bandaged it. It was small and on my side of my panty line in the inguinal region above the pubic ridge below the the ridge of my hip bone around my ASIS. What would you think this was?? It only bled when it popped there was no puss or even the clear plasma liquid. It was a deep red color

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HCM!
I appreciate your concern for the bump near hip bone.
I am of the opinion that you have developed pilonidal sinus or hair containing abscess.
Although this is not the common site to develop pilonidal sinus but it can occur in places like axilla, groin, interdigital web, umbilicus, nose, intermammary areas, suprapubic area, clitoris, prepuce, penis, occiput or on the feet.
Kindly consult a surgeon if the problem recurs again.

Take care.
