What Does A Bruised Lump On Head Indicate?

my 1 year old son fell and now has a big soft spot on the left side of his head, i did not see any bruise or bump after wards but did notice the soft spot today, when i touch it he does move away and complain so i know it bothers him and has been very crabby and wants me to hold him allot, what could this be?

The lump can be because of the inflammatory reaction secondary to trauma. Nothing to be panic, you can give antiinflammatory drugs like serratiopeptidase. You can give hot and cold fomentation.
