Hi, thanks for using Healthcare Magic.
I understand with your
anxiety but you should not worry too much. Mole generally appears at birth or shortly after birth, mostly in young adults, and decreases in the elderly.
Basically mole does not give any symptoms if it is benign. But you need to know the signs if the mole is malignant, among others:
1. Ulceration (wound) and spontaneous bleeding
2. Larger and darker colors
3. Pigments spread from the surrounding skin
4. There are smaller lesions surrounding it
5. Inflamed without trauma
6. Pain and itching
This mole can develop due to chronic irritation which one of them caused by sun exposure. Therefore, avoid direct sun exposure and use sunscreen cream / lotion when outdoors. If indeed, when you feel there is a change in the mole as mentioned above you should
consult a dermatologist in order to be evaluated further.
Moles of a size large enough as you mentioned can usually be removed with minor surgical actions.
That is the explanation we can give. I hope this helps.
