i have recently had a blood clot in my left thigh. that has dissolved. however during an ultrasound they said i have a growth of sorts which sounds like a bakers cyst. are these two things related? front of calf hurts and now swollen. going for an mri tomorrow but nervous as my job entails standing a lot.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Nope. Your clot and ?Baker's cyst are not related. The growth would need treatment to help you have painless knee movements
