Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that widal results is always interpreted according to local community titre. If your titre is above community titre than you are positive. But overall I suggest you that after five month of typhoid fever and treatment this report is a negative result. Usually the titre above 1:160 is a positive titre. But remember it is always interpretated in community. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
