What Does C 4-5,C 5-6, C 6-7 SHALLOW POSTERIOR Indicate?

Hi Doc! This is with ref to MRI Reports of my husband, age 68yrs: Findings as follows:-

Grade 1 antero listhesis of L5 over S1 vertebrae. Suggestions of Dural AV FISTULA WITH DILATED PIAL/SUBARACHNOID VENOUS PLEXUS EXTENDING FROM D6 TO D12 LEVELS.

ASSOCIATED CORD/CONUS ENGORGEMENT.OEDEMA EXTENDING FROM D7 DOWN TO CONUS MEDULLARIS WITH POSSIBLE ISCHEMIC CHANGES.

RELATIVE CANAL STENOSIS AT C4 AND C5 LEVELS

C3-4 POSTERIOR AND BILATERAL PARACENTRAL DISC-OSTEOPHYTE COMPLEX ABUTTING THECAL SAC AND CORD.

C4-5,C5-6, C6-7 SHALLOW POSTERIOR AND BILATERAL PARACENTRAL DISC OSTEOPHYTE COMPLEXES ABUTTING THECAL SAC.

Please let us knowhow serious his condition is, best mode of treatment and if surgery is absolutely necessary.

shallow means mild disc herniation causing mild compression on spinal canal.
nothing to worrying about the disc. just do some excersises u should be fine
