What Does BP Reading Of 143/64 & 90-101 Suggest?

HI, need to ask, I am on amlodepine 5mg once a day. Also on propanalol 40mg once a day.
my bp reading with medication is 143/64 and pulse ranging 90-101. Was previously with hyperthyroid but manage to keep it under control after 2 years. Is my reading normal?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The normal pulse is between 60 to 100 beats per minute so your readings are normal though in the upper range of normal.

The systolic reading (the blood pressure reading on the top) is slightly above normal range but the diastolic ( blood pressure reading on the bottom) is normal.
This bp reading is acceptable.

Your doctor would occasionally check your thyroid function tests to make sure your thyroid is still normal.

I hope this helps
