Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do X-ray And CT Scan Showing Kidney Stone Indicate?
My doctor has expressed through evaluation of x-rays and ct-scans I have a kidney stone, which has been in the same position with no size reduction since January-2015. Is it possible since I am not in pain, this diagnosis is not a kidney stone but possibly something else?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The xray and CT scan are very accurate in diagnosing the kidney stones. So,I dont thing that the diagnosis is otherwise. If the stone is big in size it might not cause pain.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
