What Do Uterine Fibroid And Minimal Free Left Adnexal Fluid Mean?

abnominal ultrasound say the uterus is anteverted, non-gravid and bulky measuring 7.9*4.9*5.3cm. a 3.3 subserosal fibroid is noted.......... it also states at the end impression: uterine fibroid n minimal free left adnexal fluid? secondary to the recent cyst rupture or PID

Hello

Your ultrasound finding may suggests uterus is enlarged in size and there is a subserosal fibroid in the uterus.
Fibroid is a benign tumour of uterus and its treatment depend upon many things like age,symptoms,family is completed or not.
Fibroid can be managed by conservative means or by surgery.
It need proper evaluation.

Your ultrasound findings may also suggests minimal fluid in left adnexa.It may be due to many causes like follicular rupture or PID(pelvic inflammatory disease).This need clinical correlation.You may need follow up ultrasound and further tests if PID is suspected.
