What Do Tingling And Numb Feeling In Toes And Hands Indicate?

Hello..

I have been feeling tingling and numbing in my toes and hands, for the last 2 months - the toes become numb when I'm on the treadmill and lately my hands get numb while I sleep - I have scheduled an appt. to see my dr. this Friday - My dr. wants to test me for MS!! I'm horrified - I'm wondering if I should also get tested for diabetes and low estrogen? Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,
I do not think that tingling numbness means MS. There are many causes of such symptoms and you should not think that it is MS. I would suggest you to meet a physcian and get Serum B 12 estimation and vitamin D 3 assessment and blood sugar level.
I would recommend you to start tablet Pregabalin M and also calcium. If there is problem with sugar level then you need to take care of that. I can assure you that it is not MS. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks
