What Do These Following MRI Findings Indicate?
I had an MRI of the cervical spine 4 years ago with the following findings: At the level of C5-C6 there is a posterior and left lateral discophyte formation associated with soft disk protrusion. Overall this measures 4.2 millimeter in AP dimension and causes significant narrowing to the left neural foramen. I have been dealing with this sometimes severe neck and arm pain with anti-inflammatory medication and the occasional painkiller. Lately, I have developped an almost constant headache on the left side. Could this be the cause?

Yes, you have severe cervical spondylisis with compression of your spinal cord leading to severe pain in neck and arm and even the headache. But you should also check your blood pressure--regards
