What Do These Blood Reports Indicate?

My wife s E.S.R. (Westergren) 28 mm after 1 hr. . Her age age is 38 years. Haemoglobin (Cyanmeth.) is 10.60 gm/dl. total WBC count is in normal range. Differential Leucocyte Count is in normal range. RBC is Normocytic and normochromic. Platelets Adequate,. Blood Sugar Fasting and Lipid Profile is in normal range. MY QUESTION IS , WHETHER THE E.S.R. IS HIGH ? IF THE ANSWER IS YES , THEN WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the investigation report you have furnished, the following things can be concluded.
1. Hemoglobin level is less than normal and hence she would need iron, folic acid and protein supplementation.
2. ESR level is borderline high. But nothing to worry at this stage as it would increase due to inflammation or infection happening. It doesn't have any diagnostic value. It only has prognostic value.
Since other parameters you have mentioned is normal, there is nothing much to worry about except supplementing for raising her hemoglobin level.
