General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

According to my knowledge, low neutrophil and high lymphocyte count usually occurs in viral infections. Raised lymphocytes are classically seen in viral infections.

I would like to know more of your detailed history and symptoms before suggesting any kind of treatment, I would like to know:
1. Any recent episodes of fever
2. Sore throat, cough, stomach any unusual symptom
3. Weight loss history
4. Are you on any medication ,any steroids or immunosuppressants
5. Any underlying medical condition

I would also advise you to repeat this test after 2 weeks, any viral infection would be resolved by then and the numbers would most probably get back to normal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
