Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am 23 yrs old.I am suffering from back pain for last 3 year.few months back I had done one MRI. in that findings were...1. lumber lordosis lost. 2. L4-5 : Central & both paracentral annular disc bulge indenting ventral thecal sac & abutting traversing L5 nerve root of both sides. 3. L1-2,L3-4& L5-S1 : Unremarkable. now what should i do ?
These MRI finding are suggestive of mild changes in your lumbar spinal column. There is a disk herniation on L5, which could cause pain irradiating on the legs. There is no need for surgery, but I would recommend wearing a lumbar brace during prolonged sitting or standing up position and avoiding weight lifting. Physiotherapy can help too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
