What Do The Tests For Liver Indicate?

my mother is 62 and the doctor has pre0scribed rcinex and pynex in for about 8 days now and her liver sgot and sgpt test show 4 time more than the normal level iw 120 and 160 is this serious and the drugs are stopped now and replaced for tuberclosis treatment pls advise

Hi,
After going through the medication history and lab results, it appears you had drug induced hepatitis.
Due to the drug induced hepatocellular injury, the enzyme levels are elevated moderately.
Its nothing to worry, now that the liver toxic drugs are stopped, her liver enzymes will come back to normal limits within fifteen days.
