What Do The Following Test Results Indicate?
I have had a cholecystectomy and a recent utrasound has shown early priminence of the CBD without obvious causes of intrinsic or extrinsic obstruction. It is 8.1mm.
It also showed the liver as appearing significantly hyper-echogenic and inhomogenous without obvious focal lesions. The portal vien is patent.
Recent blood tests also have shown a lowered level of LD at 117U/L, a elevated level of ALT at 40 U/L and elevated cholesterol level at 6.1 mmol/L
What does all this mean and is there anything to worry about?

Yes there is a very little worry but it all shows old damage of old changes if you cam share your old test specially those before the removal of your gall bladder then we can tell you how are you doing know and how things have gone for you after the surgery seeing these tests alone
without old tests to be compared so sir if you want us to comment well kindle tell us the older values so that we
can tell you are you improving or not and the extent of improvement of liver and ducts
but still seeing these values i can say things are undder control and not going towards danger infact they look like regressing to normal...
