What Do Swelling And Pain In The Right Knee Indicate?
The back of my right started swelling a week ago. It is still swollen and now the whole knee is swollen. Once in a while there is some brief pain when walking but mostly uncomfortable. I am traveling the next two weeks. I will only be on a plain two hours at a time. Should I be using ice while flying? What can I do to help the situation until I return home and can go to my doctor?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As the swelling is involving whole knee, there sounds to be substantial inflammation with arthritis or other causes.
* Though primary relief with ice application and anti inflammatory medicines.
Hope I have answered your query.
