General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Here autoimmune disease has to be ruled out like SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren syndrome, polymyalgia etcetera.

For that anti-ds DNA, Anti CCP, Anti Ro, La etcetera like autoimmune cell panel can be investigated. Also, check serum TSH to rule out a thyroid disorder.

According to the cause, specific treatment can be given. Consult rheumatologist for examination and accordingly get investigated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
