General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having pinched nerve pressure causing this type of pain.
If you are elderly then there might be having cervical spondilitis.
Many a time this type of pain is found in coronary insufficiency.
Go for EKG to rule out coronary problem.
Go for x-ray cervical region for cervical spondilitis.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
