What Do Seizures After Gall Bladder Removal Suggest?

On May 5th I had my galbladder removed due to galbladded disease. On May 7th I suffered my first seizure. I have never had a seizure before this nor is there a history of seizures in my family. I am 20 years old and simply looking for answers. Is there a possibility that my seizures could be related to having had my gallbladder removed ?

Hi,

In my opinion, these are not related. But we need more details, including the indication for removal, any regular medicines you were given after that and your serum electrolyte levels. Kindly discuss with your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
