Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing a rash and small bumps on my face. The rash comes on when I am exposed to indoor heat, particularly after coming in from the cold. The rash does not itch but is warm and bright red at full onset. It comes and goes and my skin feels very dry?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Do these rashes only involve the face and nowhere else? Ideally, this sudden change of temperature is not good for the body. Some people’s skin can react to this type of sudden change in environmental temperature.
You can do the following things:
-Wash your face frequently.
-Avoid face washes which causes dryness of skin.
-Apply Aloe Vera over face in morning and evening.
-Avoid using makeup material of powders on the face as they also can cause dry skin.
-For symptomatic relief of rash take tablet L-Dio 1.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
