What Do Red Blotchy Lines On The Bridge Of Nose Indicate?

I randomly get a red blotch or lines between my eyes just above the bridge of my nose. There does not seem to be any reason for it and it goes away in a few days but yesterday when I went home I had no idea but my wife pointed out the marks were far worse than normal. Can you tell me what is causing this or anything I can do to make it go away? Is there an underlying issue I should be worried about?

Hi,
Thank you for asking,

I think that these red blotches that you get on the face can be stress-related, but they can also be triggered by fluctuations in stress hormones. Rosacea, clusters of tiny pimple-like red bumps, can be a sign of digestive ailments.
The skin and gastrointestinal tract are both designed to protect the body by keeping things out. That may be why digestive problems can show up on the skin
In order to stay healthy, please:
1.Stay away from the sun and spicy foods--both can exacerbate redness. 2.Engaging in stress-relieving activities (like yoga or meditation) may help. 3.Also, try to up your intake of probiotics, the healthy bacteria that helps regulate digestion and calm inflammation. Yogurt with live cultures, kefir (a yogurt-like drink), and miso are all good sources.
4. You can also consider taking a supplements for the colon health, which contains three probiotic strains.

It's important for you to contact a gastroenterologist too, for further exams!!

Hope this was helpful to you,
Please do not hesitate to ask me again

Regards,
Dr. Ermira Biu
