What Do Recurrent Headaches Indicate?

My husband has had recurring headaches every day for at least 3-4 weeks. His blood pressure had initially been higher than normal (he runs low) but they have given him bp meds and this has regulated that. However, the headaches continue. The pain/pressure is behind his eyes. He has had a deterioration in his eyesight the last couple of years but was tested for MS a few years back and they said it was not related and probably just age related (he s 63). He just had a CT scan which showed no growth of tumors within the brain. We are going to see a neurologist soon -- what else should we be exploring?
