What Do Pain And Itching Around The Vagina Indicate?
My outer walls around my vagina are itchy and alittle sore feeling. My doctor has prescribed me Nastatin cream 2x daily and methyprenisolone tablets 4mg. Does this sound ok enough for my condition? I ve had it since Wed 12/13. started my presciption with these this afternoon. THank you
about that pain and itching it indicates viral or fungal or bacterial infection according to symptoms there are some organisms causing this infection it may be viral or fungal or bacterial infection.........you need simple tests for investigation ........this infection may acquired to you thraugh sexual contact with infected person so if you have sex with some person you should ask him about having sexual disease or not ..........that will be helpful .......fungal infection usually accompaigned by whitish thicky cheesy discharge and it is not present ........there is what is called hsv2 herpes infection it affect genital organs and cause burning and blisters and itching of the vagina....you may administer blood test and vaginal swab if there is indication for that...
you should not having sex untill treatment and complete recovery because that will harm more and will cause severe inflammation...........
wish you healthy life
