What Do Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Toes Indicate?

I have recently changed my exercise routine to include more dancing in Jazzercise classes daily, instead of a variety of Cardio Fit and Yoga classes. At a different location, too, and for the past 3 weeks, I have had TINGLING toes, initially I was even numb on bottom of sole (not heal). I have called my GP, advised by nurse, might be GOOD....circulation now in my 77 year old feet. I went to a podiatrist....she was interested in my immediate relief.....wearing COPPER FIT SOCKS. I also went to Whole Foods for Vitamin discussion....I think I am doing it all right, eat well, active all my life...even taking Magnesium Potassium plus Bromelian Do you think I should see a Neurologist?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion you might be suffering from pressure on the nerves in spinal canal, either due to disc prolapse or spinal canal stenosis. Diagnosis is only by MRI of lower lumbar spine. The treatment would depend on the diagnosis.

Thanks.
