What Do My Lab Test Results Indicate?

I had the following results from my various tests: 1. 2D Echo - Concentric left ventricular remodeling with adequate systolic fnction. Normal pulmonary artery pressure. 2. ECG - Sinus rhythm. Intraventricular conduction delay. 3. Treadmill Test - Equivocal stress test at 10.10 METS. What do these results mean? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your echo results show some changes in the muscle which are usually due to having to work harder than normal, such as with high blood pressure.

This can sometimes cause different problems, such as conduction delays as seen in your ECG, but the echo also shows that the heart is pumping normally.

Your treadmill test results were not clearly negative or positive, which means other testing will probably need to be done if there is any concern for ischemic heart disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
