What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

My ex gf is pregnant. The paternity is in question. On December 11th 2016 at the Hospital the urine test for Pregnancy was negative, but the blood test showed 73.8 HcG. The first time we had I intercourse was Nov 24th 2016. The last know partner besides me was on Nov 22nd 2016. From such a low HcG level. What are the chances I am the father compared to the other partner.

Hello, thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. Beta hcg is a confirmatory test for pregnancy detection. It cannot detect paternity. It is advisable to go in for antenatal paternity testing after talking to her. Both of your blood samples will be required. Since there is a gap of only two days in the sexual contact so it is not possible to comment on the chances of prospective father. Let paternity testing do the needful. You can go in for it during pregnancy. Thanks. Hope i cleared your doubts.
