What Do My MRI Test Results Indicate?

Had stroke RMCA 11/14 did well until 7/15, fingers & hand went from numb to constant contracture R pinky finger--painful and lost the regained mobility. MRI 8/15 showed distal R MCA encephalo to posterior lenticular nucleus. now dx w Pheripheral pain syndrome L hand to shoulder. Is the encephalomalacia the cause? why no s/s until 8 mo after stroke? the clot busting drugs did not work, 3 hours in OR having the clot removed. My neurologist told me this MRI showed nothing wrong. No fm hx, 66 tall and 170#. now trying stellate ganglion nerve blocks with mild success.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.

Effexor is an antidepressant &is not known to cause high blood pressure.
The dizziness & nausea could be side effect of the drug. but the same symptoms with head ache are seen in raised pressure.or even changed number of your spectacles.
Please consult your treating doctor for finnding exact cause of symptoms...change the brand or dosage of antidepressant if needful
Thanks
