What Do Muscle Weakness And CPK Level Of 353 Indicate?
Hi I take 10 mg of Atrovastin daily My colesteral is 147 my LDL/ HDL ratio is 2.48. I am experiencing terrible muscle weakness and my CPK is 353. I attribute this to the statin. Two questions - Stop the statin? does the Voltarin contibute to this muscle weakness. If ypu agree with stoping the statin, recomment a replacement for cholesterol control. Thank you.

In my opinion, I suggest you to temporarily stop statin as it is causing myalgia as shown by CPK level. Then after about 2 weeks start taking at a very low dose like 5 mg.
