What Do Itchy Red Spots On The Fingers Indicate?

Small red spots with pustules that itch and that are painful to the touch on fingers, top of right index knuckle, and bottom of feet. Could this be from exposure to herpes long ago (with no symptoms), bedbugs?, OR, mites, or athletes foot on fingers too ??

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It gets difficult for us to diagnose with simple description without any pictures of the red spots of fingers and where all they are located.

For your problems, online consultation won't work better. If you were in my clinic, I would have examined and found out etiology like is it inflammatory, allergic or infectious.

We need a little bit of history whether you had a fever, chills, rigors, any recent food intake, or product usage, etcetera.

With all these leading questions, we could sort you out to come to any conclusion. Or, if you come for a chat here, that time, we can sort out your problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
