What Do Itchy Bumps On The Palm Indicate?

Hi, I have had these bumps on only my right palm that look like little blisters. They have been there for over a month now and my palm itches and burns severely. The skin is starting to peel but at times if I scratch at the area of skin that is peeling(not intentionally), it causes my palm to bleed. Its incredibly uncomfortable. I asked the school nurse what she thought it could be, and at the time it looked like HFMD but that is only supposed to last for up to 10 days. This is now about 40 days that I ve had this going on.

Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

Itchy palms can be caused by a variety of conditions. A subtype of hand eczema exists called dyshidrotic eczema, which causes a person to have small, itching blisters specifically on the hands and sometimes feet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
