What Do Inflamed Lymph Nodes Under The Jaw Indicate?

have inflamed glands under my jaw and lymph nodes on my right side. Have been there for 1year and doctors haven t figure it out. No sickness. Blood tests and CT scan of sinuses are fine. Do have impacted upper right wisdom that I sometimes feel light pressure on especially after exercise but no real pain. I have get the odd mouth sore or pieces of inflamed gum near the molar but again no real pain. What could be causing the inflamed glands and lymph nodes for 1year?

Hello,

You have symptoms of inflamed lymph nodes under the jaw which could be due to infectious lymph nodes only and could be due to obstruction of the submandibular salivary gland. Need not to worry. Apply alternate warm and hot compresses on a given area. Maintain complete hygiene and take warm water to sip on a daily basis. Visit oral physician once and get it examined. Go for MRI of the gland and start treatment accordingly. Go for bi-digital palpation reduction as well. Take a combination of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic medication after a proper prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
