What Do Frequent Hiccups In An Infant Indicate?

hi, my daughter is 2 months old. frequently she spits up milk and gets hiccups. most of the times the milk comes from nose and she starts to choke a bit due to that. many online articles say that this will go away as she grows. but it is not clear by what month it will go away? also is frequent hiccup a issue to worry about?

dear
Please dont worry about the frequent hiccups as these are a quite normal physiology in case of babies, you can try a few sips of water or may be a feed. at that point.
More over most important for the spitting is that do a nice BURPING after each feed.
Insufficient burping leads the swallowed air to remain in the stomach leading to vommit out as well.More over in that case baby also feeds less due to the fullness,
Hope this helps
Most welcome for further queries.
