What Do Elevated ESR And GGT Count Indicate?

Hi, I have had elevated platelets as far back as i can remember and they tend to fluctuate up and down but always above what it should be. Have had a bone marrow biopsy and aspiration and all ok, been told that its mild thrombocytis. Over the past few years i have had elevated eSR, CRP, GGT and at times WBC also. Have had test for Hepatitis but all clear. Does this correlate to the high platelets or is this a separate issue. I just get called into my doctors to tell me i have an infection based on the results but with no answers as to what it could be.

Hi,

Based on your query and raised ESR, CRP and WBC count it appears that you might have some infection. No values given, however you can get your values rechecked after 2 weeks if you are apparently normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Peeyush Kumar Saini,
