What Do Dizziness And Focusing Problem In Eye After Head Injury Suggest?

Hi-I was at a total stop and hit head-on by a car going about 50 mph. My car spun around and my head hit the steering wheel and the air bag deployed. I have bad black and blue eyes and lost vision in my right eye for about 20 min after. I have the vision Barack but I m very dizzy and feel like my right eye is crossing and can t read much. Worrying too much? I ve had head issues before and another car accident and had 2 seizures last year but nothing since those. Thank u!!!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
i can understand your concern.
it seems there is a problem with the cranial nerves which are required for stabilising and moving the eyes. this usually happens after an head injury. this should subside on its own over a period of time. i assume that a ct brain was done and the reports are normal. in case ct scan hasnt been done, i would advise a ct scan brain and a consultation with a neuro physician, since direct examination by a doctor is necessary in this case. hope you are satisfied with our response. thanks for choosing HCM
