The dark patches in axillae, most probably may be erythrasma. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. After thorough examination and investigations he may come to some conclusion. If it is erythrasma..then the treatment is very simple. Erythrasma is a bacterial disease caused by cornybacterium minutissimum.Diabetes,Obesity,Excessive sweating Poor hygiene,Immune deficiency..etc may be predisposing factors.Gently scrub the involved area with antibacterial soap,Keep the involved area dry,Apply creams containing tolnaftate,miconazole,clindamycine..Oral antibiotics such as erythromycin or clarithromycin may be taken for few weeks. I think you may be improved after few weeeks. I hope you got my answer.
